The Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Registered Building Inspector to join the Building Control team. Working as a Registered Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Building Regulations across a wide range of developments.



Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a minimum Class 2A-F competency (Class 3 desirable).

  • Provide expert technical advice on building control and regulatory matters.

  • Undertake detailed inspections of building work in progress, including plan checking and final inspections, to ensure full compliance with Building Regulations.

  • Manage an appropriate caseload of building control applications.

  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and/or other Registered Building Inspectors to ensure compliance on projects as required.

  • Assist and deputise for the Team Manager when appropriate.

  • Attend the office at least two days per week, with additional attendance as required.
