Our client, an award winning Utilities Company, are recruiting a Customer Service Officer, based in Leytonstone / Essex Borders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills with strong IT skills. As well as dealing with incoming calls, you will be responsible for analysing customer feedback, resolving issues, and supervising daily operations to enhance customer satisfaction.

Duties

Manage incoming service issues to ensure a high-quality service delivery.

Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, complaints, and feedback.

Analyse customer data and trends to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.

Supervise daily operations with engineers, suppliers and other support staff and external companies, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Provide support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues affecting customers.

Qualifications/Experience

Proven experience in a customer service role.

Strong management skills with the ability to motivate and manage multiple internal and external teams effectively.

Excellent communication skills in English

Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights for improving service quality.

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Proficient in using customer service software and tools.

A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
