Commercial Director (Infrastructure)

Salary:  £155k + package + bonus

Based:  London

A position has developed for an experienced Commercial Director / Lead to play a leading role on pre-contract / Tender lead delivery, focused on UK projects.  You will be pivotal in setting winning strategies, lead commercial governance on complex bids and JVs, and ensure seamless handover into delivery.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the tender commercial strategy
  • Oversee governance & compliance
  • Build integrated project controls
  • Negotiate and secure new contracts
  • Manage risk & opportunity
  • Stakeholder leadership

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience leading and winning major bids / tenders
  • Extensive major infrastructure experience with a strong pre-contract track record
  • Expert knowledge of NEC Contracts (Options A/B/C/E).
  • Proven leadership of commercial teams on complex infrastructure bids and projects.
  • Sharp contractual and legal acumen; dispute avoidance / management experience
  • Have a hands-on approach to how you work, and be prepared to do the detail along with the overview / strategy
  • Strong client interfacing skills, with the ability to make and develop relationships
