We are seeking a Commercial Manager for our transport infrastructure client, based in either London (Kings Cross) or York on an initial 6-month contract paying between £650 - to £700 per day Inside IR35 (via umbrella).

Hybrid working - 3 days per week on-site. Expenses are covered for inter-site travel.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial leadership experience in the railway or construction sector
  • Proven ability to develop and implement Commercial and Procurement Strategies
  • Skilled in managing complex contractual disputes and commercial risk
  • Expertise in post-contract commercial management and cost control
  • Excellent knowledge of railway/commercial contract law and estimating procedures
  • Professional qualification and degree-level education (or equivalent)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership capability
  • Demonstrated commitment to value-for-money outcomes and customer-focused delivery

Desirable:

  • Experience reviewing and managing contractor interim and final accounts
