Communications ManagerLocation: London, UKLength: 12 MonthsRate: £42.31 p/h (Inside IR35)Hours: 9am-6pm (Hybrid, 3 days per week in office)Role overview:Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate Communications Manager to create awareness and excitement for our wearable products, including Ray-Ban smart glasses, in Europe. Alongside our Communications Manager for RL, this person will work across an exciting range of AI-powered, wearable technologies, driving strategic communications and storytelling that resonate with our audiences. The ideal candidate is someone who has a good understanding of the media landscape across Europe, particularly in Italy and Spain, experience working on consumer hardware products, and a passion for AI and AR technology. This individual should have a track record of planning and executing announcements, reviewing campaigns and working cross-functionally across product, marketing and partners.Responsibilities:
  •  Execute strategic plans and campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of our wearable products.
  • Help shape messaging and tactics that will resonate with consumers in our key European markets
  • Craft compelling narratives about our wearable technologies and their impact on users
  •  Implement integrated marketing communications across all channels, including owned, earned, and social media
  • Create engaging content such as social media posts, blogs, pitches, and other creative materials to promote various announcements and milestones
  • Manage press events in the region, prepare spokespeople, and develop briefing materials
  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, policy content, and other communications teams
  •  Manage relationships with multiple agency teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in communications or a related field, with a focus on consumer hardware products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging
  •  Strong understanding of the media and creator landscape across EMEA, and in particularly Italy and/or Spain, with existing relationships a plus
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing data and providing insights to inform future communications strategies
  •  Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, social and policy
Top 3 Must have hard skills
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Italian
  • Consumer tech experience
  • New Media Experience with creators & social publishers
