Role Overview:
The Senior Internal Communications Manager will lead on internal communications for the Trust. They advise colleagues on best practices, ensuring key messages are effectively communicated. The role involves campaigns on a multi-site basis and collaborating with hospital teams to communicate strategic projects. The ideal candidate has experience in engaging staff, especially non-desk-based workers, and managing stakeholders at all levels within and outside the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of internal communications strategy aligned with Trust’s clinical, operational, and workforce objectives.
- Explore a new email platform to enhance user experience and provide metrics for evaluation.
- Deliver internal communications activities while measuring effectiveness and suggesting improvements.
- Work on an annual audit of internal communications to inform future strategies and refine delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication of internal news.

Person Specification:
- Highly experienced at working in Internal Communications from preferably an NHS background, healthcare organisation or a blue-chip company.
- Has a deep understanding of how to operate within an organisation which is a leader in its market.
- Strong knowledge of both traditional and digital communication campaigns and strategies.
- Great stakeholder management experience.
