A London-based local authority is seeking an experienced CCTV Team Leader to join their Parking Services department on an interim basis. This role is pivotal in leading the day-to-day operations of the CCTV enforcement team, ensuring the effective monitoring of traffic and parking compliance across the borough.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of CCTV Enforcement Officers, ensuring full compliance with parking enforcement legislation and council policies.
Oversee the daily operation of the CCTV control room, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs).
Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and external partners (e.g., highways, legal teams, and the police).
Ensure adherence to the Traffic Management Act 2004, Data Protection regulations, and relevant codes of practice.
Provide regular reporting on team performance, KPIs, and operational improvements.
Support service reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
To be considered you must have:
Proven experience in managing a CCTV enforcement team.
