Site Manager - Water Treatment Projects

Thames Water Region (multi-site travel)

We're supporting a key client in the water sector who is growing their delivery team for AMP8. They've secured long-term work with Thames Water and are now looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead activity across multiple water treatment sites in the region.

The projects involve a mix of upgrades and new builds, typically on live sites, so previous experience in the water industry would be a strong advantage.

The Role

You'll be managing the day-to-day running of construction activities across one or more sites. That includes site planning, coordination of labour and subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You'll work closely with the delivery team to ensure work is completed to programme and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing site activities across multiple live water treatment sites
  • Liaising with project and commercial teams to plan resources
  • Overseeing subcontractors and direct labour on site
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Attending site meetings and reporting on progress

What We're Looking For

  • Proven site management experience, ideally on water or utility projects
  • SMSTS, CSCS and first aid certification
  • A solid understanding of construction methods and site coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly across teams
  • A background working with a tier 1 or specialist contractor is preferred
  • Water treatment experience is strongly preferred

You'll be joining a contractor with secured AMP8 work and long-term opportunity in the Thames Water region. Travel between sites will be expected, and a vehicle or car allowance is included.
