This successful organization is looking to recruit a highly skilled Graduate Acoustic Consultant to complement a team of noise specialists in their office based in London and contribute to a challenging range of projects in both public and private sectors.
Qualifications
Preferably MSc/BSc in Acoustics/ Noise and Vibration
AMIOA
Experience
Technically competent and IT proficient
Good communication and client liaison skills
Extensive and detailed understanding of Environmental Acoustics.
Highly organised and IT literate
Duties
Measurement surveys and reporting
Assessment in accordance with environmental planning
Prediction and measurement of transportation noise
Planning conditions - compliance and negotiation
Noise Impact Assessments (including Environmental Impact Assessment)
Liaise with consultants, engineers and architects
Writing high quality reports
Industrial and commercial noise control
Consultation with Environmental Health Officers including advising on appropriate use of planning conditions
Undertake noise assessment site visits all over the UK
