Your new role
- Working Monday – Friday, 40 hour week, across a prestigious commercial site, based in Liverpool Street.
- Overseeing a team of 2Â engineers and 1 apprentice to an effective level to maintain high standards of performance at all times.
- 50% off the tools, 50% on the tools.
- Overseeing subcontractors, working closely with the client to get involved in meetings, improvements for the team, any escalations / facilities queries and more.
- Managing all compliance including logbooks, risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, quoting.
- Driving the team performance, technically assisting the team, dealing with sickness, holidays, toolbox talks, overseeing subcontractors etc.
- Supporting with hands-on maintenance including PPM's and reactive repairs.
- Supervise four engineers and one apprentice to an effective level to maintain high standards of performance at all times.
- Manage client and building users expectations and to aim for consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Management of client relationship on a daily basis.
- Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s, ensuring best use of all resources to ensure targets are met.
- Be responsible for managing the company’s H&S and environmental performance on site.
- Be responsible for managing the company’s quality procedures on site.
- Ensure that the site has adequate resource both labour and material to allow BS to complete contractual obligations.
- Assist with employee succession and recruitment when authorised by senior management.
- Effectively manage employee absenteeism.
- Assist in the preparation of all reports required by either client or BS management team.
- Represent CPM at all client meetings, as directed by line manager.
- Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase revenue.

What you'll need to succeed
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the FM / building services industry, carrying out the above duties.
- Qualified in engineering discipline at NVQ level or higher.
- Be fully qualified in a mechanical or electrical trade
- Managing of floor fit out`s.
- Experience of FM service delivery.
- Sound knowledge of H&S Legislation and some knowledge of COSHH.
- The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of employee, customer and client.
- The ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
- The ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Knowledge of eLogbook's systems or similar.
- Managed a team of 2 or more engineers previously
