gap construction is proud to represent a leading Tier 1 joinery and interior fit-out specialist in their search for a Contracts Manager to oversee 3 to 4 prestigious fit-out projects simultaneously across London. Project values range from 3 million up to 20 million, offering a fantastic opportunity to manage high-profile interior developments within a quality-driven and highly respected team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of 3 to 4 interior fit-out and joinery projects concurrently, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Oversee project budgets, cost forecasting, procurement, and subcontractor management to control costs and maximise profitability.
- Collaborate closely with Site Teams to monitor progress, resolve commercial issues, and maintain project cash flow.
- Prepare and present regular reports on financial status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and clients.
- Implement and maintain robust processes for cost control, invoicing, and procurement.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to support smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards through effective contract management.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within joinery, fit-out, or interior construction, ideally managing multiple projects in London.
- Background in joinery or bespoke interiors is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional organisational, leadership, and communication skills, capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and project teams to deliver key business objectives.
