London South Bank University (LSBU) is one of London's largest and oldest universities with 31,000 students and c.2000 staff. The post reports directly to the Executive Group Director of Estates and Development and Campus Services and forms part of the Estates Strategic Management Team responsible for defining and delivering the estate strategy which underpins the overall delivery of the LSBU. The postholder will be responsible for pro-actively developing and co-ordinating the physical environment to create and maintain an optimum learning environment.
The post includes responsibility for the performance of, effective 50 million-pound IFM Integrated Facility management services tailored towards the evolving and changing business requirements of diverse stakeholders across the group estate whilst supporting organisational direction and initiatives. These services include, but are not limited to:

Outsourced contracts - All Soft and Hard services within Scope of the IFM. In addition, the oversight of the Chartwells catering contract.

Self-delivered - All aspects of commercial services, including tenant/leases management and corporate event/conference management.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a track record of managing large diverse estates operational teams and outsourced contracts. You will be adept at prioritising and providing an exceptional customer service all within budget. To be a success in the role, we are seeking an individual with outstanding stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills, and who is results focused and customer-centric in approach.
