IT Training Manager - The Role

We're working with a mid-tier law firm in Central London to appoint a permanent IT Training Manager. This hybrid role (requiring 3 days in the office) will see you lead a small training function, deliver tech onboarding and upskilling, and partner with IT and business teams on tech-led change.

You’ll be responsible for shaping training strategy while remaining hands-on—delivering sessions, creating engaging content, and improving user confidence across a range of legal and business applications.

  • Salary: ÂŁ60,000-ÂŁ67,000

Core Responsibilities & Tech Stack

  • Lead the training function, managing team performance and development
  • Deliver hands-on training sessions—onboarding, skills workshops, and systems rollouts
  • Work closely with IT and the business to shape tech adoption, improve user engagement, and support projects
  • Own training content and learning materials across tools such as:
    • Microsoft 365 (especially Word)
    • NetDocuments (DMS)
    • Aderant (PMS), Peppermint (CRM), HighQ, SharePoint, Bundledocs, Definely
  • Represent the training function in meetings and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives
  • Ensure training aligns with support trends, change initiatives, and user needs
