Temporary Credit Controller

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Credit Controller to join our client’s team. This role involves managing and maintaining the company's credit accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts and minimise the risk of bad debts.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Monitor and manage the company's credit accounts.
  • Contact clients to follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Resolve any billing issues or disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
  • Prepare and send out statements and reminders to clients.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and update records.
  • Provide regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and collection efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a credit control role.
  • Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Xero accounting software.
