SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST

COMPETITIVE SALARY UP TO £70,000

LONDON, HYBRID WORKING (2-3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE)

In this role, you'll be working in a small, dynamic team and focusing on developing the company's provisioning framework. You'll also be involved in some wider stress testing and climate risk projects, enabling you to provide your insight and expertise across a wide range of areas.

THE COMPANY

This Challenger Bank provides specialist consumer finance solutions to a large number of customers across the UK. You'll be joining an organisation that has its employees at the forefront of business decisions and takes pride in the culture and collaborative atmosphere.

THE ROLE

  • Develop and enhance the existing provisioning policy/framework to understand the effectiveness of the bank's IFRS9 approach
  • Lead the assessment of the Bank's expected credit losses by incorporating a range of external factors and data, providing actionable insights and enhancements
  • Support colleagues on wider stress testing and climate risk projects/ad-hoc activity.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in SAS is ideal - would look at SQL or Python
  • IFRS9 impairment or provisioning experience is required
  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk Analytics
