Customer Service Executive

Location: Southwark

Salary: £24k - £32k DOE (Please note: the upper end of the salary range is reserved for candidates with relevant experience in the asset finance sector or a similar role.)

Our client is a small but high-performing customer service team who work closely together every day to deliver an outstanding experience for customers.

This is not a call centre environment. You'll handle customer calls and emails, but without the constant pressure or volume of calls dropping in. Instead, you'll be part of a supportive group who help each other out, share ideas, and keep the atmosphere positive while getting through a lot of work.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling telephone and email enquiries from both prospective and existing customers
  • Responding quickly, effectively, and always aiming for a positive outcome
  • Managing in-life processes such as settlement requests, reschedules, account queries, refunds, and cash reconciliations
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries and requests
  • Keeping customer data accurate and up to date
  • Suggesting improvements to further enhance service delivery
  • Handling complaints professionally and in line with company values

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Can listen carefully, ask the right questions, and resolve issues effectively
  • Has strong attention to detail, particularly with processes involving figures and data
  • Enjoys being part of a team that talks, collaborates, and supports each other every day
  • Is self-motivated and keen to learn, grow, and stay for the long term
  • Is comfortable working with CRM systems (or happy to learn)
  • Can bring positivity and reliability to the role
