Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Power BI Developer for a permanent role with a leading retail client in London, requiring 3-5 years of relevant experience.
The position involves designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, and working with large datasets using SQL.
Candidates should possess extensive experience in Power BI development, strong SQL skills, and excellent communication abilities.
The role offers a salary in the range of £45,000 to £55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Preferred qualifications include a PL-300 certification and prior experience in the retail industry, particularly with merchandising or supply chain data.

Power BI Developer - Retail Client

Location:London (Hybrid - 2 days/week on-site)Permanent role

We are currently hiring a Power BI Developer on behalf of a leading retail client based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful, data-driven projects in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain intuitive and visually engaging Power BI dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Work with large and complex datasets; write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data.
Ensure high levels of data quality, accuracy, and performance within reporting solutions.
Present findings and dashboard functionalities to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience developing dashboards and data models in Power BI.
Strong SQL skills with proven experience handling large datasets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience in DAX.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

PL-300 Certification (Power BI Data Analyst Associate).
Prior experience working within the retail industry, especially with merchandising, sales, or supply chain data.
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling business insights.
Experience with Power Query.
