Project Manager - Networks

Initial Duration: 6 weeks with potential extension up to 3 months.

Location - West London (predominantly onsite)

My client, a leading global technology company, is seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex network infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure all technical requirements are met.
  • Manage alignment of network architects and engineers to change work packages through a controlled change process.
  • Maintain and update a resource tracker, including demand forecasting, prioritisation, and capacity planning.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record in managing technical network projects within complex environments.
  • Experience with Data Centre projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience managing change requests through a Design Authority, including:
    • Reviewing Low-Level Designs (LLD)
    • Familiarity with Implementation Plans and Runbooks
    • Participation in Change Boards through to live deployment.
  • Experience in matrix resource management.
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Load balancers and Firewalls highly desirable
