Job Title: SIMS Data Manager
Location: Ealing
Employment Type: Full time maternity cover

Salary:15-17 per hour

About the Role:

Anzuk is working with a busy secondary school in Ealing to hire a SIMS Data Manager for a full time maternity cover to start ASAP. Experience with SIMS and the below responsibilities areessential including an Enhanced DBS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support SLT with successfully carrying out any requests regarding confidential data
  • Management of the KS3-KS5 options data
  • Maintaining the KS3 thresholds and KS4/KS5 target grades
  • Create and publish SIMS subject templates for data collection
  • Create and publish SIMS markbooks for teaching staff
  • Create and publish individual reports and profiles for data collection and distribution
  • Support Assistant Headteacher (Assessment & Data) on the progress and reporting calendar providing guidance through the process for staff
  • Responsible for overseeing data collection input for all progress grade entry points and liaising with teaching staff
  • Maintain the behaviour management procedures and records and associated reports
  • Quality assure reports
  • Oversee the entering and updating of medical information in SIMS
  • Support admin, teaching and data staff in successfully carrying out any work with data/SIMS
  • Oversee the set up of SIMS in relation to the academic calendar and annual promotion procedures in SIMS
  • Support in the collection and provision of data for analysis and manage the mark sheets used to collect data
  • Support staff, students and parents through the formatting and communication of assessment data
  • Set up and produce student reports and data tracking systems
  • Create and issue internal student reports for tutors, Year Leaders and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Prepare a new academic year calendar in SIMS
  • Annually promote students into the new year structure
  • Ensure and manage a smooth transition from one year to the next in SIMS
  • Support with attendance and create intervention sessions

Requirements:

Qualifications are not essential for this role. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with SIMS.
