A services business is seeking a Controls Compliance Manager to join the team in the London area.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Working collaboratively with leaders within the compliance team to ensure internal control testing is delivered across the full annual cycle
  • Liaising with control owners to share test plans and support on information requests
  • Assessing the evidence of controls to conduct analysis on the effectiveness of these and identifying areas for improvement
  • Submitting the test results through the Audit Board, ensuring required standards are met, and communicating these to control owners for remediation
  • Overseeing and reviewing all aspects of business testing
  • Maintaining the Audit Board system, supporting audit logs, advising on best practices, and staying updated on system developments
  • Proactively contributing to control improvement projects, including remediation cycles, to deliver best practices
  • Contributing to and supporting the delivery of controls compliance training
  • Supporting the ongoing deployment of the risk and control mindset across the business
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA), ideally trained within a 'Big 4' practice
  • Several years of post-qualified experience, particularly within a large corporate environment
  • Proven experience with US SOX compliance
  • Strong background in controls monitoring, including Internal Controls over Financial Reporting
  • Experience delivering end-to-end controls testing, remediation, and reporting
  • Good knowledge of corporate governance and internal control best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
