A welcoming and well-established nursery in Leyton is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team. We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children and their families, and contributing to a nurturing and stimulating setting.

About the Role:
  • Position: Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified)

  • Hours:

    • Option 1: 8:30am - 4:45pm (Mon - Thurs) & 8:45am - 4:45pm (Fri)

    • Option 2: 9:30am - 5:45pm (Mon - Thurs) & 9:45am - 5:45pm (Fri)

  • Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour (depending on experience)

  • Location: Leyton, Waltham Forest

Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner:
  • Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children aged 0-5.

  • Plan and deliver stimulating learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Monitor and record children's development and progress effectively.

  • Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and team members.

  • Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed.

Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner:
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) - essential.

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

  • A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
