KeyResponsibilities

  • Adhere to all company policies andprocedures
  • Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of theEarlyYears Foundation Stage
  • Ensure appropriate planning and assessmentisaccurately maintained for key children
  • Undertake the role of key personasdescribed inthepolicy
  • Prepareand superviseactivities
  • Supervise and support children at alltimes
  • Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors
  • Ensure that all children are keptsafe
  • Notify Designated Officer of any safeguardingconcerns
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times withchildren ,parents ,colleagues andvisitors
  • Develop andmaintainprofessional working relationships with colleagues ,parents and carers
  • Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate,ismaintained
  • Adhereto allhealthand safety policies and procedures andundertakea shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery
  • Workaspartof ateamto ensure the company's values aremaintained
  • Attend monthly staffmeetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
  • Undertakeany otherdutiesas reasonablyrequestedlinemanager

Essential:-

  • Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Yearsqualification

  • Experience and commitment to, outdoor learning i.e., Forest School.
  • Experience with using a range of technologies to teach and assess children, i.e., Interactive White Board, iPad.
