Remedy Education is currently looking for a dedicated BSL Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in North London. This long-term role starts ASAP and continues for the entire academic year.

Key Details:

Role: BSL Teaching Assistant

Location: Islington, North London

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Rate: £90-£115 per day

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing in-class support to students with hearing impairments

Confidently translating spoken language into BSL in a mainstream classroom setting

Working closely with the SEN department to ensure students receive tailored and effective support

Acting as a Communication Support Worker where required

What We're Looking For:

Minimum BSL Level 2 qualification (essential)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Passion for inclusion and equal opportunities in education

Previous experience in an SEN or educational setting is desirable but not required
