Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Islington

A supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Islington is looking for a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is considering a career in education, psychology, or youth work and wants hands-on classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or similar pathways.

Working across different departments, you'll provide targeted support to students who may need help accessing the curriculum, staying focused in class, or building confidence in their learning.

Your role will involve:

  • Supporting students in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assisting teachers with classroom management and preparation of resources
  • Helping to deliver intervention sessions in English, Maths or other key subjects
