One-to-One Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich, a short walk from Blackheath Station, is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant to join their team from June 2nd. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting a pupil with additional learning needs in a vibrant school setting.

• Join a nurturing and high-achieving primary school community

• Work closely with a single pupil, offering tailored academic and emotional support

• Receive ongoing training and support from SEN and pastoral teams

• Excellent transport links and local amenities near Blackheath

• Provide individualised learning support to a pupil with additional needs

• Help implement EHCP strategies and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO

• Assist with behaviour regulation, emotional support, and classroom engagement

• Monitor progress and adapt support based on the pupil's daily needs

• Foster a safe and encouraging learning environment

• Experience working with children with SEN, behavioural, or emotional needs

• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children

• A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
