SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a warm and welcoming two-form entry primary school in Haringey to recruit a passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time opportunity to start in September 2025 (or earlier if available).

About the Role:

  • Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting children with a range of special needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and global developmental delay
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups to deliver tailored support in and out of the classroom
  • Supporting class teachers with differentiated learning and behaviour strategies
  • Engaging with therapists, the SENCO, and external agencies when needed
  • Start: September 2025 or sooner
  • Long-term role with potential to become permanent
  • Daily rate: £90-£110 PAYE

About You:

  • Must have experience working with children with SEND in a classroom or learning setting
  • Passionate about inclusive education and supporting the individual needs of pupils
  • Calm, patient, and nurturing with a good understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Able to follow EHCPs and implement targeted support
  • A great communicator who works well as part of a team
  • Desirable: SEND-related qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE, Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Makaton, PECS)
  • A keen interest in developing a career in special educational needs or education
