A nurturing and community-focused primary school in Haringey is seeking a skilled and empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their experienced team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

As a dedicated SEND TA, your role will be to support children with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, PMLD, and speech and language difficulties. The school is looking for a confident and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils 1:1 and helping them access learning in a meaningful and tailored way.

You will be working alongside class teachers and the school's SEND department, playing a key role in implementing personalised support strategies and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• A Teaching Assistant with previous school-based experience

• Experience working with children with SEND

• Strong one-to-one support skills

• A calm and adaptable approach to meeting pupils' individual needs

• Confidence in managing a variety of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and speech delays

• Someone enthusiastic about building relationships and making learning accessible for all
