SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS 1:1 Support - Primary School in Haringey - Full-Time Role

A lovely two-form entry primary school in Haringey is currently looking for a passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This full-time position involves supporting a Reception pupil with complex ASD needs on a 1:1 basis. The child benefits from a calm and nurturing environment and requires a consistent routine and specialist interventions to thrive.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside a skilled EYFS team and a proactive SENCO to ensure the child is supported both academically and emotionally. SEN Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and therapists to track progress.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or equivalent support role.

  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and ASD strategies.

  • Empathetic, adaptable, and enthusiastic personality.

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one through Reeson Education.
