A dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant is sought to join a vibrant Primary school in North London. The successful candidate will provide support in a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class, working collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver high-quality education and create a positive learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, the candidate will assist the class teacher in various aspects of classroom management and instruction. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one and small group support to students, implementing differentiated learning activities, facilitating student engagement, and helping to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
The ideal teaching assistant, will have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a KS2 setting. They should have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and be able to provide effective support to students of different abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
The teaching assistant should be adaptable, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to motivate and inspire students in their learning journey. They should be able to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other members of the school staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for all students.
