A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role that will continue until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups, both in class and on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

  • Helping to plan and deliver tailored interventions to support student progress

  • Monitoring and recording student progress and feeding back to teaching staff

  • Supporting students with additional needs to access the curriculum effectively

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
