Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role that will continue through to the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students in and out of the classroom, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis

Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons

Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Provide targeted support to students with additional needs

Contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities

Assist in managing classroom behaviour effectively

Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people (in education, childcare, or similar settings)

A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude

Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed
