SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive faith primary school in Haringey, North London, to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting September 2025.

This vibrant one-form-entry school has a supportive and friendly atmosphere, placing strong emphasis on pupil development, inclusive education, and fostering a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support across Year 1 to Year 6, working with SEND pupils where required, as well as supporting whole-class learning. You will play a key role in ensuring that pupils of mixed abilities are fully engaged and able to access the curriculum through differentiated support, scaffolded learning, and positive behaviour reinforcement.

This Teaching Assistant position is ideal for someone with prior experience working in a primary school, who has a passion for inclusive education and a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is essential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

  • Provide targeted 1:1 support and group interventions

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, child-centred lessons

  • Use strategies to support children with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

  • Create a calm and structured classroom atmosphere

  • Foster pupils' confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills
