An independent UK construction consultancy is recruiting for a Senior Development/Project Monitoring Surveyor to join its London team, working on new build Residential & Mixed-Use development across London and the South East.

The business has an excellent reputation in the sector and strong base of fund, investor and banking clients, this role has been created due to growth in the team. They will consider candidates up to Associate level for this position.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of live development monitoring commissions across London and the South East.

  • Advising funders and investors on project risks, costs, programmes, and progress.

  • Producing detailed, commercially astute monitoring reports with clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Leading client meetings and maintaining strong relationships with all key stakeholders.

  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development efforts.

Candidates for this role should beMRICS qualified with strong experience in development monitoring, and a strong understanding of construction cost and project management principles.

They will need to be based in the South East (north of London is ideal) with a full UK driving licence and car.

The role will pay up to 85,000 salary plus benefits including bonus, 28 days holiday, enhanced pension and more.
