We are looking for Deputy Manager to join an amazing care team based in the North Finchley area.

We are happy to condider:

Initial training will be provided but you should be able to work on your own and use your own initiative when required. You will be a team player, an excellent communicator, well organised and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

The main duties;

  • To assist with individual care referrals from the Care Coordinators, when required.
  • In conjunction with the Care Manager, to provide support to all staff members within the and to cover the Manager’s absence, which will include answering emails and ensuring care compliance
  • To ensure that all legislation is adhered to as required by CQC.
  • To meet with the Directors and Care Manager on a regular basis (usually monthly), and provide reports as required.
  • To assist the Care Manager and In-house Trainer with any managerial supervision, training and appraisals where necessary.
  • To assist the Care Manager in monitoring the performance of all care staff and to assist in initiating appropriate action should standards fall below an acceptable level.
  • To assist the Care Manager in ensuring that senior staff and staff receive on going advice and support to maintain the progressive development of the team.
  • To assist the Care Manager when dealing with staff disciplinary matters up to and including dismissal.
  • To ensure that all Care staff are being monitored on a monthly basis with regard to utilisation, availability, training, supervision etc.
  • To assist the Care Manager with ensuring that budgetary control is maintained, ensuring that maximum income is maintained and all expenditure is monitored and recorded.

Our client may consider progressing this role into a Care Manager role within the next 12- 18 months, all training and support will be given.

In addition to the above, you may be requested to carry out any other tasks that maybe considered a reasonable request in line with the role of a Deputy Manager.

NVQ in Health and Social Care Level 3 mandatory working toward Level 5 would be great.

Must be a car driver with your own vehicle

Salary is negotiable on experience but we believe will be around £30,000 - £35,000 + great benefits and a great working environment!
