A higher education institution based in London are looking for an Interim Employee Relations Specialist to lead on complex ER casework. The role is an initial 12 month FTC, offering hybrid working with an immediate start.

Description

An Interim Employee Relations Specialist to:

- Manage complex ER casework that are outstanding

- Focus on sickness absence and high volume of grievances

- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

- Provide suggestions and improvements on how to resolve challenges and processes

- Coach and advise managers on casework and confidence in managing difficult situations to prevent escalation

- Deal with cases in a timely and professional manor

- Work at pace

- Provide coaching and training to managers

Profile

A Interim Employee Relations Specialist with:

- Previous employee relations experience, including grievances and disciplinarians

- Previous experience of employment tribunals desirable

- Previous HE or private sector experience essential

- Strong data management and reporting ability

- Ability to work at pace and in a commercial way
