Lead the Charge Towards a Net Zero Future

Are you ready to step into a leadership role within a consultancy with ambitious growth plans? We're seeking an experienced Associate Sustainability Consultant to join a thriving sustainability team and take ownership of delivering industry-leading projects across the built environment.

This is a high-impact role where you'll lead a team of 7 sustainability specialists, manage major client accounts, and drive forward net zero, ESG, and green building certification strategies across a wide variety of sectors.

What You'll Do
* Lead and mentor a team of 7 consultants, providing guidance and professional development support.
* Deliver and oversee BREEAM New Construction and LEED New Construction assessments, ensuring best-in-class certification outcomes.
* Shape and implement net zero and decarbonisation strategies for private and public sector clients.
* Advise on ESG frameworks, climate risk, and biodiversity/net gain initiatives.
* Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Contribute to business development by growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.
* Provide thought leadership and stay ahead of emerging trends, standards, and regulations.

About You
* Proven experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment.
* Strong track record of delivering BREEAM and LEED New Construction Assessments.
* A skilled communicator, confident in managing client relationships and influencing at senior levels.
* Previous experience managing or mentoring a team.
* Knowledge of net zero strategies, carbon accounting, ESG frameworks, and wider sustainability services.
* Relevant degree with professional membership/chartership (e.g., IEMA, RICS, CEnv) preferred.
