Thisdynamic healthcare membership body looking to recruit a well-organised, creative and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to support the successful delivery of their portfolio of conferences and events, including on-the-day operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities of the Events Coordinator:
- Coordinate the successful delivery of the organisation’s two flagship conferences, working closely with the Conference Manager.
- Lead on the planning and on-the-day delivery of onsite educational events, including coordinating promotion through print and online material/social media etc. and monitoring the budget for each.
- Communicate with delegates and speakers to ensure the smooth running of events, including answering queries, undertaking risk assessments, and supporting audio-visual requirements.
- Produce timely event briefings for all relevant staff.
- Oversee post-event feedback processes, incorporating insights.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience.
- Event management skills, with at least 3 years’ demonstrable experience of successful delivery of a programme of events.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability, problem-solving abilities and crisis management skills, with knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and event management packages.
Salary and Further Information for the Events Coordinator Role:
- c£32,750 to c£40,000 per annum.
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Based in central London, with remote working provision for part of the week.
