Team Assistant - Float Roles | Global Investment Banking (temp to perm)

A leading international investment bank is on the lookout for exceptional Float Team Assistants to provide pivotal support across its Investment Banking Division.

This is not your average admin role. You’ll be stepping into a high-stakes, fast-moving arena where precision, initiative, and adaptability are vital. Our teams operate at the highest levels with senior stakeholders and international clients, and we need confident professionals who are ready to hit the ground running.

Hours 9am - 5pm with flexibility for overtime c40-45 per week (5 days in office)

Annual earnings c£42-51K

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing complex calendars for senior executives, including Managing Directors and Partners, across multiple time zones
  • Organising a high volume of meetings, calls, and video conferences with both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Acting as a key liaison for calls and emails, ensuring timely communication and clear follow-ups
  • Coordinating internal room bookings and virtual meeting logistics
  • Booking and managing international travel itineraries - including flights, hotels, visas, and ground transport
  • Processing expenses with accuracy and efficiency, often across multiple team members
  • Handling ad hoc tasks and ensuring consistent workflow during busy periods
  • Supporting various teams with daily administrative needs and project-based tasks
  • Providing coverage for colleagues during holidays or high-volume periods

What you’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience as a high-level Team Assistant in a busy, demanding environment
  • Confidence supporting large teams, ideally within financial or professional services (other backgrounds considered)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities with calm efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written - with a polished, professional approach to liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure
  • A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • A trustworthy and discreet approach to sensitive or confidential information
  • A natural team player with a positive, approachable attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
