A global investment bank is currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant on a permanent basis.

The want a proactive and detail-oriented individual to provide essential PA support to the Leveraged Finance head and team.

This role offers an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting key stakeholders and contributing to the efficiency of business operations.

About the Role

As a Personal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations across the UK Corporate & Leveraged Finance team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diary management, call screening, and access coordination for senior leadership.
  • Travel arrangements, including booking business trips, accommodation, visa applications, itineraries, and expense processing.
  • Meeting coordination, including scheduling, presentation support, and liaising with CLF PAs in other jurisdictions.
  • Office administration, including filing, ordering stationery, IT support, document preparation, and overseeing office moves.
  • Recruitment support, coordinating interviews and onboarding new employees.
  • Compliance & training, organising fire drills, BCP training, and maintaining holiday and absentee records.
  • Ad hoc project work, assisting with business initiatives and reporting.
  • Providing cover for other front-office assistants when required.

Experience & Competencies Required

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Extensive PA experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong networking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong time management, able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Analytical mindset, demonstrating attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluency in written English
  • Diplomatic approach, with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
