A well-respected not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Financial Analyst to support one of the most important and high-profile areas of its work. This is a pivotal role that combines core month-end responsibilities with in-depth analysis and project support, contributing to informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities

Partner with teams to support project work, cost tracking and financial analysis

Provide insightful commentary to guide operational and strategic decisions

Meet with senior stakeholders to gather financial and operational data to inform analysis

Lead the month-end process for a key business area, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Prepare clear and concise financial reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders

Work closely with colleagues across finance and operations to maintain strong financial oversight
This is a hybrid role, with just 2 days a week in the office (based in Central London) and the rest from home. The organisation champions flexible working and supports a healthy work-life balance.
Person Specification:

Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Proven experience in a Financial Analyst role, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent Excel skills, with confidence handling and interpreting complex financial data

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in a business partnering context

Experience working in a large-scale organisation is essential

Knowledge or experience of development finance or capital projects is highly desirable
