A leading global data & advisory business is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their Data and Analytics team. This role is pivotal in producing authoritative sector reports and supporting global and regional departments. You will play a key role in enhancing the understanding and growth of the sector through strategic analysis and data integrity. This role is ideally suited to a newly qualified accountant trained within a top Practice ideally

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of global sales
  • Apply industry-wide reporting standards aligned with IFRS, notably IFRS 15
  • Drive improvements in coverage methodologies, mitigate stream manipulation, and present reporting updates.
  • Provide technical expertise on reporting standards and engage in ongoing improvements to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Support process enhancements and automation efforts.
  • Conduct audit-style data reviews in key markets and work closely with providers to maintain a transparent and reliable global data environment.
  • Assist with ad-hoc market analyses, prepare data-driven presentations for senior stakeholders, and liaise with external parties to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate activities across global, regional, and national departments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA/CA qualification.
  • Organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • First-class analytical skills and outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within tight reporting deadlines.
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting to both internal and external audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a diverse network.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
