An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a listed mining business based in London. This role offers the chance to work within a highly collaborative and knowledgeable finance team, supporting operations across multiple continents.
You will be at the heart of group consolidation, external reporting, and technical accounting, with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders including operational teams, corporate functions, and external auditors. The role will also work closely with the FP&A team and projects and systems teams.
Key remits to the role include;
- Prepare technical accounting papers and contribute to audit committee reports, ensuring clarity with relevant standards
- Lead the preparation of quarterly releases
- Produce monthly group consolidations
- Collaborate with operational teams
- Drive continual improvements
- Assist with adhoc projects as required
You will need to be;
- Proven ability to conduct technical accounting research
- Background in listed company accounting environments
- Hands on experience with HFM
- Excellent communication skills to work well with teams across a variety of departments
- Ability to provide Financial insight and analytical mindset
