We are currently recruiting for a boutique Mortgage Broker in London who are looking to recruit a Mortgage Adviser.

Job Overview

The role will require the individual to offer advice for fees to clients in relation to mortgage borrowing, equity release (if qualified) and the related insurances. Each piece of regulated advice will be logged in accordance with procedures on the companies CRM systems.In some cases, further recording of figures and client data maybe required off the CRM. A successful adviser will build a book of loyal repeat clients and introducers and generate referrals from these.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Liaise with potential clients and clients to find out their lending requirements• Source options via sourcing system and/or with manual research• Provide all clients with clear and concise advice• Meet or speak with clients to help with form completion• Submit applications to lenders• Ensure all compliance is carried out fully• Chase all parties involved in the application - lender, surveyors, solicitors, etc• Keep clients informed and updated with the progress• Keep the CRM systems up to date including all notes and dates for re-broking

Qualifications

• CeMAP (or equivalent qualification) and Equity Release qualification. If no Equity Releasequalification, it is to be obtained within 12 months of start date.• At least 2 years mortgage market experience• The individual MUST be organised - good diary with attention to detail• Must be friendly and confident• Knowledge of 360 and Twenty7Tec software an advantage.
