We’re delighted to be working on an exciting new opportunity with a prestigious international bank, seeking a Credit Risk Manager to join their London-based Risk team. This role offers broad exposure across the portfolio mainly covering property finance. 

Key Purpose:As a key member of the Risk Department, you’ll support the Head of Credit Risk in delivering robust second-line defence across the Bank’s credit exposures. You’ll play a vital role in credit assessments, limit management, capital and liquidity monitoring, and policy compliance, ensuring the Bank’s risk framework remains strong and responsive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct credit risk reviews across counterparties, sectors, and geographies
  • Support underwriting and due diligence for real estate transactions, Private Banking, and FI/Investment proposals
  • Maintain and monitor credit limits and exposures in line with policy
  • Assist in stress testing, capital forecasting, and liquidity risk reporting
  • Monitor early warning indicators and support recovery strategies for distressed exposures
  • Maintain internal credit grading models and ensure procedural documentation is up to date
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure accurate reporting and compliance

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in credit risk analysis within banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of property finance and investment products
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk appetite metrics
  • Effective communicator with strong organisational skills
