Finance Director – FinTech scaleup

Hybrid working (London City office 2 days p/w)

£150k/200k (depending on experience) + equity  

Talentedge are supporting a rapid-scale FinTech business (high volume, low value transactional based model)  on a newly created Finance Director opportunity.

Working incredibly closely with a very impressive CFO who is a former Tier 1 Management Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving domestic and international scale.

You’ll be fantastic for this role if you are seeking an all-encompassing position with a company-wide remit, within the next big FinTech coming out of London! Key responsibilities to include:

  • Build a scalable infrastructure of processes, controls and systems from the ground up
  • Own monthly management, annual statutory and FCA regulatory reporting
  • Business partner cross functionally, in particular with GTM and Product & Engineering functions
  • Support structured and secured debt funding processes
  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, planning and commercial finance initiatives
  • Report on, track and analyse KPIs (financial and non-financial)
  • Own the relationship with external partners such as FCA, Auditors and Banks

Profile:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Mixture of larger banking / FS institutions experience from earlier in your career, coupled with more recent hyper growth FinTech (payments / lending / digital banking)
  • Experience of directly partnering with FCA
  • Complex structured & secured debt refinancing experience
  • Hands-on with building scalable processes and controls from scratch
  • Effective communicator, comfortable partnering with internal teams as well as external partners
