Handle are currently working with a global media giant, who are looking for a Finance Manager to focus on Internal Controls and lead a team of 2. The main purpose of this role is to provide expert financial guidance and support to key stakeholders, with a strong focus on maintaining the integrity and oversight of financial systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include -
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing control design and effectiveness
- Act as deputy to the Senior International Finance Business Partner, attending key governance meetings as needed
- Support risk management for the team, coordinating with Group Financial Control
- Identify, escalate, and resolve International Financial Control risks and issues
- Lead accounting system upgrades (e.g., SAP, Concur, QuickBooks) to strengthen financial controls
- Approve updates to the International Operations Finance Handbook and Delegated Authorities list
- Lead and develop a team of 2
Candidate requirements -
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in designing, operating, and reviewing financial controls.
- Strong background in audit, financial governance, and oversight activities.
- Solid understanding and application of risk management principles and processes.
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading people effectively
- Have worked in another global media or entertainment brand
