A global media organization is seeking a Finance Manager to lead international financial controls within its news division. This role supports financial governance, risk management, and compliance across a complex, international operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
Manage financial control risks and coordinate with audit and compliance stakeholders.
Conduct remote and on-site reviews of international bureaux to assess and enhance financial controls.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including system upgrades (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks, Concur).
Support operational and structural changes, including opening or restructuring international offices.
Approve key updates to financial control documentation and delegated authorities.
Requirements:
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Strong background in financial controls, audit, and risk management.
Proven leadership and people management experience.
