Our client is a fast-growing technology scale-up seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a key operational role that ensures the accuracy of financial records, reporting, and transactional processes across the business.
Working closely with the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will lead the execution of core finance activities including monthly reporting, cash flow tracking, reconciliations, and budgeting support. This role also includes the management of our outsourced finance operations team based in Pakistan, ensuring they are aligned and delivering to expected service levels.
The office location is in Fulham, London.
Key responsibilities:
- Management Reporting and Financial Controls; assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements, perform balance sheet reconciliations and oversee the general ledgers.
- Transactional Finance oversight; oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, VAT preparations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Process improvements
We aree looking for someone who:
- Is part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, or qualified AAT with relevant experience.
- Has experience working in an SME or multi-entity business environment is desirable.
- Has prior experience managing or coordinating with offshore or outsourced finance teams is a strong plus.
- Has strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling).
- Has experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar cloud-based accounting systems.
- Has had exposure to international operations or multi-currency environments.
- Has an interest in technology and improving finance through systems and automation.
- Is highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A good communicator, comfortable working with remote teams and stakeholders.
- You need to be proactive, hands-on, and open to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Someone who thrives under pressure and with constantly changing dynamics
