Management Accountant | Central London / Hybrid | Award winning Media Co | £45-60,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant (Qualified or Part Qualified) to join this dynamic Media business in Central London and to take advantage of an excellent career development opportunity.. Key tasks include:

  • You will report to the Group Finance Director and take responsible for group management accounts, playing a significant role in management of group external audit while overseeing a small finance team.
  • Monthly reporting, income statement, balance sheet and cashflow, with comparison to forecast and projection to year end.
  • Statutory accounts
  • VAT, setting funds aside, completing the quarterly return and submitting to HMRC.
  • Purchases, maintaining an up-to-date purchase ledger, with suppliers paid to terms.
  • Streamlining and improving all operations and accounting systems.
  • Proactive and strategic in anticipating organisational needs.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious Part Qualified (studying) or Qualified Accountant with an excellent academic background. You will be a graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher with A's at A-Level as well as solid experience as a Management Accountant. Strong systems skills would be essential as well as the ability to communicate with customers and staff internally.
