Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: London (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1-day WFH)

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Overview

We're working exclusively with an Investment firm to recruit an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join their growing London team. This is a well-rounded finance role, offering excellent exposure across regulatory reporting, FP&A, corporate tax, and month-end close processes.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with a highly experienced CFO in a progressive, social, and forward-thinking environment.

About the Role

They are looking for someone who can keep the finance function running smoothly while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the outsourced finance operations team (AP/AR/journal posting), ensuring timely and accurate work delivery.
  • Liaise with the parent company to support process automation and improvements.
  • Ensure accurate regulatory reporting, including payroll, corporate tax, and client money/CASS compliance.
  • Prepare financial presentations and board packs, including key performance insights and variance analysis.
  • Own the monthly close process, budget tracking, and financial forecasting.
  • Support the CFO in strategic planning, FP&A, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with the audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Mentor junior staff as the team grows (opportunity to hire in the coming months).

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-4 years PQE.
  • Confident, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a small team.
  • Experienced in budgeting, regulatory reporting, and monthly close processes.
  • Strong communicator with a "can-do" attitude - no task is too small.
  • Open to learning and capable of quickly understanding complex financial products.
